The Michael J. Keating Insurance, Inc. was officially formed in 1969 by our father, Mike Keating, Sr., after several years of working in the life insurance industry where he saw the need to provide additional service to his clients and founded the agency. He also saw the value in representing many different companies so the agency could meet the varying insurance needs of individuals, families and businesses throughout the West Hartford and Central Connecticut areas. To this very day, the Keating Agency is an independent agency representing the finest insurance companies in the country! Over the years the agency grew and continued offering insurance through A-rated companies, many of which are still strong partners with our agency to this very day. While growing within the community, family members also started to join the agency ranks in the early '80s. After 29 years, Mike Keating, Sr. turned the agency over to his son, Mike Keating, Jr., who is currently running the agency today.
