Dempster Insurance Agency, LLC is a local, full service, family owned business, which was started by William W. Dempster in 1964, out of his home. By the early 70's, the agency had outgrown the small front porch office that was once a dream. Due to the need for more office space, Bill moved the business to Overhill Rd, in Peoria. Bill's daughter, Laurie & son-in-law, Casey became involved in the business in 1991. Bill worked for 40 years before retiring in 2004. Upon his retirement, Laurie & Casey took over the agency full time. In 2005, we purchased the Plack Agency, another family owned business. In May, 2007, we relocated to a larger office space just around the corner, still in Sterling Plaza. In December, 2008, the agency opened it's second location at 82 E. Fort Street in Farmington, IL, to help service its current customers in the western Peoria/Knox/Fulton County areas. Finally in 2012, the main office relocated to 3510 W Willow Knolls Dr, in Peoria where we now reside.
