The insurance agency was originally established as the Krautkremer Agency and went on to become known as the Shorn-Krautkremer Agency. This partnership eventually led to the Velishek-Shorn Agency, and finally the Velishek Agency. In 2004, the Ott's purchased the Velishek Agency and owned it up until 2017 when they sold to Derek and Beth Nelson. Derek and Beth are excited to be apart of the community and look forward to bringing the agency into the 21st century combining state of the art technology with good old fashion face to face customer service.
