In June 2018, I resigned from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, with nearly 18 years of service, to pursue a career with Shelter Insurance. The change has been rewarding and has given me the flexibility to spend more quality time with my boys while they are young. As you can imagine, the thought of switching careers after so many years was frightening! In January 2020, after 19 months of hard work and dedication, I was selected as the 2019 Agent of the Year for District 43 and one of the Top 150 agents in the company.
