Advantage Insurance started as an agency in Bedford NH specializing in Payroll Deductible Auto & Home Insurance. Until 1998, all we wrote was discounted auto and home insurance through employer-sponsored plans underwritten by Travelers Insurance Co. We wrote a lot of it – by 1996 we were the second largest writer of the Travelers' Employee Security Plus program in the nation. In 1998 we expanded our offerings to non-group auto and home insurance with multiple companies, and added other lines of personal insurance – motorcycle, boat, jet-ski, snowmobile, etc. In 2001 we ventured into the Commercial Insurance arena, and in 2008, we purchased our current location at 393 Daniel Webster Hwy in Merrimack NH (doing 90% of the property rehab ourselves). Today, Advantage Insurance is a multi-million dollar insurance agency, whriting every type of personal and commercial insurance. Our slogan – “We are large enough to be competitive, but small enough to care” – are words that we live by.
