Weed Ross Group in Batavia, NY 14020 at 214 E Main St Ste 8

George-King-Boss Agency merged into Weed Ross Group 02/01/2019 and is now located near 16 Liberty St in Batavia, NY. Leo George Sr. created George & Ireland Coal and Insurance in 1927. In the 1940's, Leo J. “Bud” George Jr. joined along with Charles “Chuck” Craigmile and it was named George & Craigmile in 1947. Bud's brother Bob joined the agency and it was renamed the George Agency in 1950. In 1968, John King joined the agency as a partner and producer. Nancy Boss joined the agency in the mid-seventies. The name was changed to George-King-Boss Agency in 1981. In December of 1989 Bud and Bob sold the agency to the Iroquois Group. During the early 1990's, Bud and Bob George retired from the agency. At this time, John became President of the agency. Nancy continued to manage the agency until she retired in 1999. John retired in April of 2014.
