Bruen Deldin DiDio's lineage goes back several generations in Putnam County. Original founder, David D. Bruen began a small insurance agency in 1960 while his mother Mildred, worked at the A.H. Vail Insurance Agency addressing the growing needs of insurance in a post-war era. The Bruen-Rich Agency was formed from the purchase of C William Rich Agency at 20 Main Street in the Old Post Office building which, eventually became a landmark in downtown Brewster, NY. The Bruen-Rich Agency was purchased by son David (grandson of Mildred Bruen) and Sero DiDio. A merger with the Louis Herman Agency in 1993, owned by Robert C. Deldin, resulted in the name and ownership of Bruen Deldin DiDio Associates, Inc.
