Kinder's Insurance Agency was opened by Bernard Kinder in 1978 in South Point, OH as an independently-owned agency, providing personal and commercial insurance solutions throughout the state. In 1986, he moved his agency to Ironton in order to establish the first self-insurance pool for county government bodies. Maintaining that tradition, our agency continues to offer government insurance programs, as well as other types of specialty coverage such as SR-22. However, with a staff possessing over 80 years of collective experience, we are able to write nearly any type of policy from homeowners & auto insurance to commercial general liability insurance.
