Our Great Grandfather, Stephen Hartman, started the business in the Wyoming Valley. His son, Edward V. Hartman continued the business in the Wilkes Barre area until moving to the Dallas area. His son Edward (Ned) W. Hartman took over in the 1970's and now the business is run by his two sons, David Hartman and Edward (Ward) Hartman, who are the 4th generation servicing the business, and have been running the agency since 1992.
