He also had an unforgettable sense of humor. The Sacks Country Store, owned and operated by my grandfather Benjamin Sacks his family, was a focal point of life in this close-knit rural community. Uncle Izzy ran the store and Uncle Joe was the postmaster. Everybody in the community knew the Sacks family's reputation for integrity and hard work. When I came to work with my dad in 1975, we had a staff of four people in a little office on Swede Street in Norristown, near the courthouse.
