The Farm N' Home Casualty agency was originally opened in 1917 as the Dourough Agency by founder Henry Dorough. In 1944, Max Untersee became an acting partner and the agency became Untersee-Dorough Agency. After Mr. Dorough's retirement, Mr. Untersee became the agency manager in the late 1950's. In 2011 Pierson-Fendley, an independent insurance agency in Paris, acquired Farm N' Home Casualty, which has afforded more carriers and products to offer our clients. Pierson-Fendley is a Best Practice Agency awareded by the Insurance Agents & Brokers of America, a Trusted Choice Agency, and member of the Combined Agents of America.
