My wife and I recently sold the our Farmers agency that we owned and operated for 11 years. As much as we loved Farmers and did not want to leave the organization, we had to make a decision for our family and our future clients to leave the company and open an Independent agency. We are not the type of agency that would to leverage the length of our relationship to guilt our clients into staying when the premium had become unaffordable. We knew something had to change. In October 2018, we started Planners Insurance Group of America. As an independent insurance agency, our team works on behalf of our clients to find the best insurance company for their goals, rather than working for the insurance company to find clients. Our companies all have at least an “A” rating with the financial rating agencies and many of them are publicly traded companies on the New York Stock Exchange.
