In the 1990s I was hit by an uninsured driver, and I was not properly protected. It was financially devastating. I became an Allstate agency owner because I want to help others avoid the same situation. I love helping people and being able to give back to my community. When I'm not working, you'll often find me volunteering. I serve as the board chair of Red Cross serving East Texas, covering 11 counties. I also serve as chair of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) East Texas, which supports victims of drunk driving. I chair the R.E.A.C.H. Team for our Longview Chamber of Commerce, which helps welcome and provide resources to new and expanding businesses. I also serve on the leadership team for 100 Women Who Care of Longview and volunteer for East Texas Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). I help sponsor community events along with other business owners to help improve our local quality of life.
