Billy R Martin, agency founder, moved from Waco to Tyler in 1956. He knocked on 17 doors before anyone would let him in to talk about buying insurance. He truly started his agency from scratch only knowing a few people in the Tyler area. His philosophy was ” if you know something about the business you're in and treat the people the way you want to be treated the sky is the limit.” Although Billy passed away in 2004 his legacy lives on through his two sons, Alan and Harold, that currently run the agency along with their families.
